This report offers results for the Princeton condominiums homes for sale  sold  in 2004-2008. Here are the key points resulting from our analysis.

Princeton Township Condos For Sale

1. Median prices for Princeton condos in 2008 was $450,000 -decline of 18% compared to 2007.

2. The decline in 2008 is second largest decrease in the last five years. The largest decrease was in 2006, when the median price fell 30%.

3. Median prices have decreased in three years out of the last five.

4. Largest increase in the median price has occurred in 2007, when the median price increased 54%, following the dramatic decline in 2006.

5. In the last five years the median price has decreased 2%.

Princeton Borough Condos For Sale

1. Median price in 2008 was $560,000 and has increased 15% compared to the previous year.

2. Median prices have declined only once in the last five years. It happened in 2006, when the price dropped 17%.

3. Price decline in 2006 is understandable, given the high increases of 49%  in 2005.

4. Princeton Boro condos had a 60% cumulative increase in median prices in the last five years.

Princeton Townhouses And Condos Homes For Sale -2009

Princeton NJ is an attractive choice for many home buyers because it offers not only single family homes but also a wide choice of condos and townhouses. Princeton townhouses could be found in many neighborhoods and many price ranges.

The first time home buyers often seek these Princeton NJ homes for sale, because they represent the entry point for real estate in Princeton.  There are other buyers who are interested in these homes because they are looking to minimize home maintenance, or because they are downsizing.

There are luxury townhouses such as in Governor’s Lane, with prices in the over $700,000 range. Homes in Princeton Ridge on the Stonewall Circle present an interesting option because of their design- they are semi-attached, not multiply attached as the townhouses usually are. They sell in the $700,000 -$800,000 range. Buyers could also find Princeton condos and townhouses for sale in the mid-range of over $500,000, for example in neighborhoods such as Campbell Woods. There are many other possible neighborhoods, such as Washington Oaks, Queenston Common in the Princeton Borough and Fieldwood Manors development in Princeton Township.

Princeton NJ Condos & Townhouses – Luxury Princeton Homes For Sale in Governor’s Lane.

Princeton New Jersey is known for it’s wide selection of luxury  homes for sale including condos and townhouses. In Princeton we have several luxury condominium and townhouses neighborhoods, such as Constitution Hill and Governor’s Lane.

Governor’s Lane homes and townhouses were built approximately 10 years ago and the neighborhood is reminiscent of the English mews houses. The backs of the houses overlook beautiful park like gardens with benches and walking paths.
Princeton luxury townhouses in the Governor’s Lane neighborhood usually attract people who are looking to limit their home maintenance chores. Many aspects of these homes are maintained by the Homeowners Association.

Princeton luxury townhouses in Governor’s Lane have all the amenities found in single Princeton homes for sale. They are usually 4 bedrooms, 3+ bathrooms and have lots of closet and storage space. Governor’s Lane townhouses are usually on 4 levels, with master suite on the second level and other bedrooms on the 3d. The lower level is usually finished and often has a bathroom.

The homes in Governors Lane are mostly townhouses, but there are several free standing homes as well – the Lambert Model. Last free standing home sold in Governor’s Lane was 14 Governor’s Lane. This house sold for $1,039,000.

The are several townhouses for sale in The Governor’s Lane now ranging in price between $739,000 and $790,000. These prices reflect the general condition of Princeton real estate – Princeton townhouses in Governor’s Lane used to sell for over $800,000 a few years ago.

Governor’s Lane is not a 55+ years community, it is a neighborhood of exclusive Princeton homes for any age.

Campbell Woods is an attractive community in Princeton NJ of interest to many

Campbell Woods, is a neighborhood of Princeton townhouses, located on a scenic Princeton Ridge. It was built by Toll brothers in 1996. The builder, unlike in many newer developments, did a great job of preserving the natural beauty. Many of the townhouse back to the magnificent tall trees and have views and privacy. This is a relatively small community of approximately 42 homes.

Most homes are 3 bedrooms, 2/1 bathrooms, although there are some that are 2 bedrooms. Some homes have walk out basements. The Campbell  Woods homes sold in the last 12 months in the $449,000 -$555,000 price range.
