Betsy, thank you so much for adding the information about the Fall Festival in Montgomery Township. There are so many recreational opportunities in Princeton, Montgomery Township and other surrounding towns. They are one of the reasons why it’s so enjoyable to live here.

In addition to these great events, I thought you might be interested to know that Montgomery Township is sponsoring a Fall Festival this coming weekend on October 25. It is a combination of Spirit Day and a Halloween Bash to create one great big celebration. The event will held in the Montgomery High School Parking lot. The High School address is 1016 Route 601, Skillman, NJ 08558.
According to the message I received, the Homecoming Parade will start it off at 10:00 am and will include the High School Band, Athletic Teams, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Police, Fire and EMS. Children, ages 12 and under, are invited to come dressed in their Halloween costumes and participate in their own “Halloween Parade” starting at 12:00 pm, going around the track at Cougar Stadium. Prize baskets will be raffled off to all costume parade participants! In addition to the parade, the Recreation Department will have goodie bags as well as a professional storyteller for the children.
Residents are encouraged to donate boxed cereals and/or boxed milk (i.e. Parmalat) to the Montgomery Food Pantry. For more information you can reach the Montgomery Recreation Department at (609) 466-3023.
